Austrian female-fronted symphonic metal band EDENBRIDGE has been forced to cancel its appearance at this year's installment of the Caos Emergente festival, set to take place September 11-13 in Porto, Portugal. The group says in a statement, The promoter was not able to provide flight tickets for the band and crew according to the contract.
"After numerous mails from the band over more than two months concerning the flight tickets, the promoter put off the band until the last week before the festival just to say that now the flight tickets are too expensive for them, which is no wonder when you wait until the last moment.
"The proposal from the promoter to fly in the band from Munich instead of Linz according to the contract was logistically not possible for the band to solve in such short time and tickets from Munich would have not been any cheaper.
"We would have loved to play for our Portuguese fans."
