Montreal, Quebec, Canada-based black/death metallers NECRONOMICON have finished mixing their new album, 'The Return Of The Witch'. According to the band, "the mastering session as been started earlier last week and after some test and tweaking some really good result are showing. The band is happy to be working with renowned Maor Appelbaum at Maor Appelbaum Mastering studio in California (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, HALFORD, F5, THERION, SIGH)."
Currently unsigned, NECRONOMICON last spring shot a video for the new song "The Time Is Now" from "Return of the Witch".
"Return of the Witch" will feature guest appearances by Arianne Fleury (ex-AUGURY) and Roxanne Constantin (NEGATIVA, QUO VADIS), among others.
The band previously stated that the follow-up to 2003's "The Sacred Medicines" would "probably be the fastest and most brutal" CD the group has released thus far.
Other songtitles set to appear on the album include "Into the Fire", "Alpha Omega", "The Awakening", and "Return of the Witch".
